1. The service
Settly is an Android calculator that uses amounts, payers, and participants you enter to calculate each participant's totals and settlement routes. It does not transfer funds, track completed payments, provide a financial account, or determine anyone's legal debt obligations.
These terms apply only to Settly. Google Play, Android backup, and any app you select to receive a shared result also have their own terms. You do not need a Settly account.
If you are a minor, a paid purchase requires a parent or legal guardian's consent where required by law. Any statutory right to cancel a minor's purchase made without that consent is preserved.
2. Free version
The free version allows 1 currently stored settlement with up to 10 stored expense items. Within those limits, you can add participants, calculate results, and share images. There is no separate free-tier participant limit.
Saved incomplete items count toward the limit; unsaved new-item drafts do not. Deleting settlements or items frees that capacity. This is not a lifetime creation allowance or a daily quota. Banner ads may appear when permitted by the applicable privacy choices and ad-request conditions.
3. Pro benefits
During a valid Pro subscription, Settly removes the free creation limits on settlements and expense items and stops requesting banner ads. Removing product limits does not remove the storage, memory, or performance limitations of your device.
Pro is a monthly or annual automatically renewing subscription, not a one-time purchase or a lifetime license. No auto-converting free trial is currently offered. Using the free version or opening the Pro offer does not start a subscription.
Pro does not include an operator-provided cloud backup, synchronization of settlement content between devices, or access on a future platform.
4. Price, payment, and renewal
Before you confirm a purchase, the app and Google Play checkout show the selected plan, the total charge for its billing period, the currency, and renewal terms. An annual plan is charged for the year, not in monthly installments. Review the final price and tax treatment shown for your account and region at checkout.
Google Play processes payment when you confirm the purchase. A pending or unsuccessful purchase does not create a new Pro entitlement; an existing valid entitlement is evaluated separately. Settly uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and current subscription access.
Unless you cancel renewal, Google Play renews the subscription and charges according to the selected billing cycle. Price or renewal changes follow applicable notice and consent requirements and Google Play's procedures. A terms update alone does not authorize an undisclosed charge.
5. Canceling renewal and restoring purchases
Use the Pro subscription-management option in Settly Settings or Google Play subscriptions to cancel renewal. Sign in with the Google account used to purchase. Uninstalling Settly, deleting settlement data, making a privacy request, or sending a general support inquiry does not itself cancel a Google Play subscription.
Ordinarily, canceling renewal leaves access available for the period already paid for. A refund, revocation, or other action required by law may change that access.
After reinstalling or on another Android device, you can request restoration of a valid purchase using the same Google Play account. Restoring is not a new purchase, does not restart renewal, and does not recover deleted settlement content. Availability across devices depends on store verification and restore state.
6. When Pro ends or cannot be verified
When Pro ends, the free limits and applicable ad conditions return. Settly does not automatically delete settlement data because a subscription expired.
- If more than 1 settlement is stored, all settlements become view-only.
- If only 1 settlement is stored but it has more than 10 saved items, that settlement becomes view-only.
- View-only permits viewing existing items, calculated totals and settlement routes, and deleting data. Adding, editing, image sharing, and duplication are restricted.
- Returning within the free limits by deleting data, or verifying an active Pro entitlement, removes the corresponding restrictions.
If a network or verification service issue prevents checking current access, Settly displays that a check is needed instead of declaring the subscription expired. Without valid cached access, the app may temporarily provide only free-tier features and viewing/deletion of over-limit data. Reconnect and retry verification or restore purchases.
7. Refunds and payment issues
Refund and withdrawal rights depend on applicable mandatory consumer law, the terms presented at purchase, and Google Play's refund policy. These terms do not waive non-waivable rights or declare all digital-service purchases nonrefundable. Canceling future renewal and refunding an existing charge are separate actions.
See Google Play refund assistance, or email corp@solidsoft.team with the subject Settly refund request. Include the product, purchase date, reason for the request, and a reply address. Support may request an order number to locate the transaction and will explain the applicable basis and outcome. Do not send card credentials, account passwords, or raw purchase tokens. The operator remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law.
For Korean consumers covered by Korea's Electronic Commerce Consumer Protection Act, a statutory withdrawal period generally runs for 7 days from receipt of written contract information, or from the start of supply if later. Statutory restrictions may apply once a service or digital content has begun, with exceptions for unsupplied separable portions and failures to provide required notices or safeguards. Separate statutory remedies and deadlines apply if supply differs from the description or contract. These Korean provisions do not limit rights provided by U.S. federal or applicable state law.
Where a lawful withdrawal creates a refund obligation under Article 18 of that Act, the operator will fulfill the refund obligation within 3 business days from the legally applicable starting date and promptly request any necessary payment cancellation. Statutory late-payment compensation applies where required. The time for a refund to appear on a payment account can vary with Google Play and the payment provider; this does not waive the operator's legal duties.
Records subject to mandatory retention are kept within the scope of that obligation. Korean electronic-commerce law requires 5 years for contract, withdrawal, payment, and supply records and 3 years for consumer complaints and disputes. This does not mean the operator collects or retains your on-device settlement content.
8. Your content, storage, and sharing
Check amounts, payers, participants, and recipients before relying on or sharing results. Incomplete expenses are excluded from calculations. Currency changes reinterpret numbers rather than applying an exchange rate; settlement rounding may also affect final amounts. Review the result before arranging an actual payment.
Settlement content remains on the device and is not available to the operator for remote recovery. Android backup may operate under your system settings, but Pro is not a separate recovery service. Keep any results you need before clearing app data or changing devices. A receiving app and its recipients control the copies you share.
You retain rights in content you enter. These terms do not grant the operator permission to use settlement content for advertising, model training, or disclosure to other users. Rights in the app software and operator-created materials remain with their respective rights holders.
9. Changes, availability, and responsibility
The operator may make necessary changes or temporarily interrupt the service for security, maintenance, or legal compliance. Material changes or discontinuation affecting a paid period will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible, with consumer protections and refunds required by applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or privacy rights. Describing Settly as a calculation tool is not a blanket disclaimer of the operator's legal responsibilities.
10. Updates and disputes
Changes to these terms will identify their effective date and be made available in the app or linked website. Material or adverse changes follow applicable notice and consent requirements. Silence is not treated as blanket consent to every future change.
Contact corp@solidsoft.team for service or subscription issues. These terms do not remove protections, remedies, or court access that mandatory law gives you. Privacy requests are described in the Privacy Policy.
